Chapter: Into the pit

When Alex awoke once again, still strapped to the metal table the doctor still stood by his side. She made the other doctors aware that he had was awake. About 10 doctors surrounded Alex and the doctor told Alex they were going to test something and that it will hurt a lot. One of the doctors passed something the to the one standing closest to him but he could not see what it was. She started cutting a half circle in his shoulder; she then she pulled a syringe out of her long white coat's pocket. he saw that it was the nector. nearly a teaspoon, it would do nothing to him. The doctors only wanted to see if it effected his heart rate.
When the tests were done the doctor told Alex she wanted to see how the nector could react in battle. A fork lift picked up the table he layed on and he realized they were taking him to another building. In the building there was a pool, it was empty and surrounded buy a cage. they dropped alex into the cage and it took all he had to get to his feet even using the wall of the pool. On the other side of the pool the cage door opened and out came a berserker. it stood there just looking at Alex. The next animal, a rat. The rat did not have the usual prison uniform but an army suit. the rat darted directly at Alex. Alex could not move being so weak and only held out his arm that the blade stuck out of. there was nothing that hit him. only the breaking of bones. the berserker had thrown the rat against the side of pool hard enough to kill a normal person. the rat stagered up and tried running at Alex again. Again the berker cought it, this time tearing it to pieces; nector poring out of it's torso. the berserker slid it over to alex. It wanted it to suck the necotr out of its body. With no time Alex started sucking up the nector and immediatly the sensation of energy hit him. He climbed the side of the cage where the doctor stood and stabbed his blade arm through. it came up inches short. within seconds there were knockout darts in his back and neck he fell and hit the bottum of the pool he laid with his eyes watching the berserker rocking back and forth as it fell to it's side. Moments later Alex was uncontious.
