Execution by Alexander Gordon Smith

I am going to start reading the 5th and final book of a series I have been reading. It has been awile since I read the 4th book but i hope to quickly ferfresh my mind. This 5th book is called Execution by Alexander Gordon Smith. The first book is called lock down. Alex, a 15 year old boy who does not have the greatest life decides to break into a house. Men in black suits, with masks on, come to the house and are described as "Monsters of Men". They shoot his friend toby directly in the head and tell Alex to run. Alex runs away and goes home but the police are already there blaming him for toby's killing. Alex goes to court and is chosen guilty for the murder. The men in black are in the court house with Alex. When Alex walks by another court room he sees another boy about his age arguing with the judge. The same men, exatly the same body build sitting in the court room. Alex is sent to Furnace, a penetentiary that no boy has ever lived to his 18th birthday. not as a human they dont at least. the boys are being turned into something unimaginable. Keep reading to see what happens in book 5 after Alex has tried to escape twice and is now in his 3rd try and is out still running from the warden's beast. Alex is one of the only to be turned into one of these beast yet still have his own mind.

Book i am about to read

The new book i chose to read is called I hunt killers. I chose this book because it is about a boy who hunts down his fathers killer. His father was killed 2 years before the book starts and he studys all the findings about his fathers murder. Will he find the killer? i think he will but when he meats him he will not be able to seek his revenge.

Taylor's summer reading Throne Of Glass

For my summer reading I read Throne Of Glass. this book is about an assassin who is captured and becomes a slave. In this place most people only last 2-3 months, Celeana has been there for almost a year and a half. When the son of the king, the man her put her in this horrible place comes to save her from it, she wonders why. The Prince talks of a competition, of the greatest thieves, assassins, and soldiers in all of Adarlan. She does not yet know what shes up against, but she knows what she has done in the past, and is sure that she will be able to come out on top. Thier will be 23 other competitors, will she be able to handle it?

If she wins the competition, the agreement is that she will earn her freedom after just 4 years of being the kings assassin, Adarlans assassin. When she trys to eat she can only throw up because of the lack of food she was given at the slave holding. She begins to train and run, everyday, each time she gets farther and farther without throwing up her lunch. She is so comfident in her ability to win that the prince does no want the others to know who she really is. they have all only heard of her, never seen what she can really do. Inside she is ready to kill again. She is ready to have her freedom. She will let no one stop her. The only real thret standing in her way is Cain, the nearly seven foot tall "monster of a man." He is a soldier in the Kings army. He was raised in the mountains and is only in the competition for the fun. I give this book a 4 star out of 5 star for is thrill and how interesting it is.
