pg 150-162

I am continuing to read Execution by Alexander Gordon Smith. Alex made it back to his house and he already knew no one would be home. Every kid had been turned into a rat or a new berserker. Every adult has been killed because their body can not handle the nectar. Eventually Alex decides to let everyone sleep for a while considering Simon had already laid his head on the table and fallen asleep. Alex didn't even remember laying down before falling asleep. While Alex was dreaming he met the real Alfred Furnace, the man who took him away from his family. The man who made him the monster he is. The man who killed the old him and created a new Alex. During his dream Alfred is only a kid. His eyes are deep, dark, black pits. Alex looks around to see they are in a barn. Their is 2 men and a women who Alex describes as "Extremely Drunk." The adults are kicking a boy who could be no older than 16. Furnace walks over and the Adults try to run but their is nowhere to go. He puts a pin size hole in the boys wrist and his hand over the boys mouth. The nectar in Furnaces veins begins to run into the boys body. Just as it does with all its victums, the nectar began to cloud the boys thoughts and take over his system. The boy, not even a boy but a thing now was on its feet in seconds sprinting on all fours to the women and with in second she was on the ground blood running from her neck. Before the men could react the boy was shredding them apart. he walked back to furnace and funace looked back at Alex. Alex asked, "was he the first?" furnace looked at him and only said, "yes, the first of millions."

My prediction is that Alex will find Furnace just as planned. But will he kill him like he wants to? I dont thinks so. Hopefully soon I will find out.
